How it all began...
Originally I thought it would be enough to spruce up CORDIS SKY a bit to make it feel comfortable. The photos from the estate agent at the time were really "favorable". But over time I kept coming up with new ideas, and I would like to present two examples of projects to you on this page.

Guest bathroom
The beginning
In the beginning, there was a small, sterile, tiled room without a shower. The ravages of time had not only taken their toll; they were HUNGRY!
Guest bathroom
The modification
For this renovation, everything had to go and the narrowness of the room drove me to despair a few times 😩 After that, I swore to myself that this would be the first and last complete renovation of a bathroom. Those who know me better know that this resolution didn't last very long...

Guest bathroom
The result
But in the end, a well-thought-out, small and modern bathroom was created, which could no longer only be accessed through the bedroom.
Garden
The beginning
It was clear to me from the first viewing that something really needed to change. I found a bare area made of exposed aggregate concrete slabs. My goal was to create a place of retreat that, despite its manageable size, offered all possible amenities.

Garden
The planning
I had a lot of time to plan during the cold winter months of 2021/2022.... The result was to include a beautiful wooden terrace, a garden house, a sauna, an outdoor shower and a whirlpool. Little things like lighting, herbs, flowers, water/waste water and automatic flower watering, of course.

Garden
Execution
It was certainly not a smart move to start the renovation and especially the excavation in February 😁 But at least the snow and rain showed me that I also need to install drainage. Otherwise I would probably have built a large natural pond...

Garden
Execution
In total, around 20 tons of material were moved by my hands. Most of it with the help of a shovel 😝

Garden
The result
After about 4 months of renovation (with interruptions, of course), the garden was finally finished 🙂
In the meantime, I had amused the village quite a bit: countless times visitors stood in my garden and shook their heads 😆
